О Торне:
Kevin Tughan used to be Tom Thorne's partner and very early on in their career; Thorne became the golden boy of the department due to what was believed to be his incredible instinct, whereas Tughan is more of a structured, persevering copper. He works hard, he doesn't have great instincts, but he's still a good copper and so there's a kind of resentment between Tughan and Thorne. Basically, Tughan is jealous of Thorne but admires him and also feels rejected by him since Thorne stopped being his partner.
